On February 11, in an homage that was both vibrant and festive, Cégep Marie-Victorin honoured the contribution of some fifty staff members of the Cégep who, in recent years, were active in research development. In attendance were Marie Blain, assistant director of studies and director of the research file, as well as Cégep employees and partners.
“It’s with a great deal of pride that we honour these individuals who contribute to spreading the expertise of our institution and the strength of the college network in research.
Research occupies an important place in our establishment and testifies to our dynamism, and, we hope, will help us forge new alliances in the creation of promising projects. The development of opportunities in research collaboration constitutes one of the priorities of our strategic development plan for 2014-2019” said Ms. Blain at the event.
Thus researchers, collaborators, members of the research ethics committee, the Vestechpro team, CCTT affiliated with Cégep Marie-Victorin, and representatives of the UNESCO Chair in Applied Research for Education in Prison of the Cégep Marie-Victorin got together to exchange and share on their common interest in research.
Research at Marie-Victorin Cégep Marie-Victorin has implemented four policies to frame their research activities, as well as a research ethics committee to help realize and finalize several research projects.
